Today, I would like to throw some praise in the direction of the Century Theatres chain. I attended the Century Theatre Belmar 16 in Lakewood, CO yesterday and found myself in the Valhalla of all concession stands. Nathan’s® Hotdogs, six flavors of Dreyer’s® Ice Cream, a choice of kettle or regular varieties of Orville Redenbacher’s® popcorn, serve yourself soft drinks and Icees®, mini-friges full of a variety of other beverages including Arizona® Ice teas, grab it yourself pretzel bites and super nachos, bulk candy, packaged candy, and on and on. I was in the concession area for nearly 10 minutes—not in line, I was picking out treats. The kettle corn was awesome as was my mix of Barq’s® Rootbeer and Minute-Maid® Lemonade—ever tried it, it’s really good! I hope that people are paying attention to this concession stand, and I hope it is the wave of the future.
