• Saw IV is all about facing the demons of the past as well as overcoming weaknesses of the present. So, as it will turn out, Rigg (Lyriq Bent) will have to return to his own beginnings as a detective to solve the current trap he's been placed in. That trap is a 90-minute game with an expiration booby prize being the deaths of Mathews (Donnie Wahlberg) and Hoffman (Costas Mandylor). As he is abducted into the game, he will have to "See as I See", "Feel as I Feel", and "Save as I Save" with a twist itself. He will find people in traps, and he will be able to help or hinder their escape. Of course, the big thing being that if he stops to help them, he will be further behind in trying to save Mathews and Hoffman (the former of whom is hanging by his neck standing on a block of melting ice).
•Rigg will arrive in the nick of time to save his friends. Had he listened, though, he would have realized that arriving late is the only way to save them. When he arrives on time and pushes the button on the trap, two blocks of ice swing down and crush Eric Mathews skull from opposite sides.
• The big secret is, though, that Hoffman has now taken over for Jigsaw. He put himself in the trap to make it look real for Rigg and to teach Rigg a lesson, but he's never in any real danger of being electrocuted. He leaves and walks down the long hall theoretically into Saw V.

• Of course, the real twist may be yet to come. Why would Hoffman pick up for Jigsaw? Has Jigsaw put him in an even bigger game? What do you think? Post your ideas below in the moderated forum.
