The Twist:
Halfway through, using clues from Gray (Michael Feast) and disclosure from Medea (Jaime Murray), Ian Stone (Dan Vogel) learns that more than just he's being hunted by the Harvesters—black demonic entities that feed on human fear, he used to be and still is one of them. Most of the Harvesters are ganging up on him to learn the secret to what has allowed him to turn on and kill one of them. Apparently, he used to be one of their strongest leaders. But something has changed him. So, they are doing all they can to get to the bottom of his power.

The Ending:
Trapped in hospital restraints and some wild head gear, Medea and her minions seek to get the truth out of Ian by injecting him with weird fluids to cause him extraordinary pain. For some reason, they leave him alone long enough for a visit from Gray who explains that he's been changed by the power of his lover for Jenny (Christina Cole). While in human form, he and she have fallen in love, and this has endowed him with not only more power than his fellow Harvesters who feed on regular fear and lately on the intoxicating power of pain caused by death, but also the power to give life. In his younger days, Gray too had this power. But, the others killed his love taking her from him forever just as he knows they will do to Christina if Ian doesn't get his strength back to fight them. The only way, though, is for him to feed, and Ian doesn't want to do that anymore. So, Gray takes his hand and force feeds him his energy sacrificing his own life for the good of Ian's conquest. With Gray's power, Ian is now strong enough to defeat Medea and her gang killing them one-by-one. Killing Medea, however, proves to require his greatest leap of faith as he spears her with is pincer through the gut of Christine whom she's holding hostage. After Medea disintegrates, Ian uses his powers to resurrect Jenny quickly. The two then appear back at his college hockey game. After he scores the game-winning goal, they kiss in the hallway. As the ref walks by, Ian senses something odd about him. He detects he is a harvester. So, he follows him and spears him with his pincer…THE END.
