Spoiler Points:
• At some point along the way in process of dealing with the stages of Juno's pregnancy, Mark Loring (Jason Bateman) realizes a few things: (a) he's really not that ready to be a father, (b) he's really much more interested in getting back in touch with his youthful adoration of the guitar and playing in a band—certainly not the suitable, upstanding profession for his perfectly organized wife Vanessa (Jennifer Garner), and (c) perhaps, actually, he's sort of got a thing for Juno.
• Well, Juno's out of the question, but dumping Vanessa is not. So, just before the baby's due, Mark splits to move to the city and play his guitar. When Juno learns that the 'perfect' couple she's selected to become the parents for her new baby has gone berserk, she doesn't know what to do. Fortunately, she comes to the realization that Vanessa really wants the baby more than anything, and she'll be a wonderful if not better mother with out Mark. So, she sends Vanessa a note saying that if she's still in, Juno's still in.
• In the end, Juno has a conversation with and realization that Paulie really is the man of her dreams.
