Spoiler Points:
• Angus MacMorrow (Alex Etel) finds an egg which hatches into a baby sea dragon he names Crusoe.
• The creature grows and grows to the point where the MacMorrow's mysterious handyman, Mr. Mowbray (Ben Chaplin) suggests that he put him in the Loch where he can be free and happy.
• Angus agonizes over the thought of it, but he lets Crusoe go.
• A military regiment led by Captain Hamilton (David Morrissey) sent to prevent an invasion into Scotland by Hitler's submarines, nearly kills Crusoe when they test fire their submarine blasting guns on what they believe to be an empty loch.
• This attack makes Crusoe loathe humans. He nearly kills a few people and acts viciously toward Angus.
• In a night of a confusing rain storm where communication systems are down, Crusoe is spotted by members of the regiment and thought to be a German submarine. Capt. Hamilton orders the sub destroyed.
• Angus tries to save Crusoe's life by jumping on board and riding around hoping they won't shoot at him.
• Eventually, Crusoe escapes the loch by leaping over the submarine net barricade to the open sea.
• Crusoe dies as some point and lays an egg that is found by a little boy at the end of the movie.
