How exactly does one spoil a spoof? Maybe by not telling the truth? Naw, wouldn't want to get tossed down the bottomless pit.
Spoiler Points:
• So, it's the same story as 300 pretty much but with reality show judges and over-exposed celeb look-alikes popping up everywhere.
• Travis Van Winkle fans might like to know that Travis Van Winkle is in most of the film. He dies during the final battle—loses his head, body keeps on fighting a bit.
• Traitoro (Diedrich Bader) turns out to be a traitor. He sleeps with Queen Margo (Carmen Electra), and then turns that against her.
• Jim Piddock is fabulous as the Simon Cowell look-a-like. The two could be brothers.
• The Spartans win a step dancing competition and then dance the Persians off the cliff. Then they win an insult-off.
• Oh, yeah, I almost forgot that Rocky Balboa puts in an appearance. He finally goes down with a Botox injection to the skull.
• Finally Xerxes (Ken Davitian) has to take matters into his own hands and fight nearly hand to hand with Leonaidas.
Stay for the credits…mid-way through there are a bunch more cameos and fun scenes, some of which were, perhaps, funnier than anything in the rest of the film—catch Ike Barinholtz from "Mad TV" for example doing his Dane Cook. Ike's hilarious, not sure why he's not gotten the major break he so richly deserves.
