Ending Spoiler:
It turns out that or, at least, the final flash seems to show that actually, Tara has murdered all of her friends under the influence of the evil shroom she ate early on. The shroom doesn't kill her, instead it turns her into a homicidal maniac killer who is completely unaware of what she is doing. Her premonitions turn out to be her actual actions, and she wakes up thinking what happened was just a hallucination or dream; when, in fact, it was real. After killing everyone: Bluto, Holly, Lisa, Troy, and then Jake, she is finally rescued and put in an ambulance. On the way, she kills the medic, escapes the ambulance, and heads back into the woods.
