Spoiler Points:
• D'Leh (Steven Strait) has an encounter with a Saber-Toothed Tiger that causes the entire continent of Africa to believe him to be the chose one to lead them on to freedom.
• While primarily motivated by his desire to rescue his beloved Evolet (Camilla Belle), D'Leh eventually rises up to lead not only his small band of followers but the entire continent of Africa.
• After charming a saber-toothed tiger and saving himself from becoming dinner, he is then thought to be the prophesied leader of the continent and the armies of warriors who assemble around him.
• D'Leh leads them to a horrendous battle against a supposed deity leader who's using free slave labor to construct huge monuments in his honor.
• He leads a carefully planned assault to free the mammoths whose rampage will then bring the emperor out in the open. When the emperor ponies up some deal of Evolet for a reversal of war efforts, D'Leh tosses his coveted white spear through him proving him not to be a true deity. In the confusion, a warlord tries again to kidnap Evolet. She is eventually shot through the heart by one of his arrows. D'Leh rushes to her rescue, but it's too late? Or was it, apparently, the tribal mother (Mona Hammond) was able to breathe the life back in her after he own death making it possible for D'Leh and Evolet to live happily ever after.
