Spoiler Points for Mamma Mia! The Movie:
• Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) never finds out which: Sam Carmichael (Pierce Brosnan), Harry Bright (Colin Firth), or Bill (Stellan Skarsgård) is her father. In the end, all three agree to hold a 1/3 share.
• At the "I Do" part of Sophie's wedding, she realizes that she and Sky (Dominic Cooper) can wait to get married. So, she proposes instead they just go off traveling which is all he ever really wanted to do.
• Not wanting to waste a perfectly good wedding, Sam, newly divorced, proposes to Donna (Meryl Streep) for whom he's been pining since their nights in Greece that may or may not have led to the birth of Sophie. She accepts and the two are married on the spot—guess that testing and marriage licenses and etc. are an afterthought on this isle of Greece. Ah, but who's splitting hairs, this was a special moment.
• Also, Harry finally realizes that he's not that into Donna, or women in general for that matter. Actually, he's more into one of Sky's friends.
• As for Bill, well, it would be a sad state of affairs if he didn't get to have one, so yep, sure enough, he pairs up with Rosie (Julie Walters).
