Spoiler Points for Traitor
• Samir Horn (Don Cheadle) is a very undercover operative trying to break into the inner circles of some of the biggest minds in terrorism on the planet. He has to do so, however, by getting his hands dirty on a mission in Europe that kills innocent people instead of the 'dummies' his government friend, Carter (Jeff Daniels) sets up for him. This causes a major change in heart for him.
• Nonetheless, Samir works with Omar (Saïd Taghmaoui) whom he befriended when stuck in a prison in Yemen, and gets closer and closer to Fareed (Aly Khan) the number one for the big boss.
• The terrorists want 50 similar targets destroyed at the same time on the same day to teach the American infidels a lesson once and for all.
• Samir, meanwhile, is pursued by two government agents that don't know he working for Carter: Roy Clayton (Guy Pearce) and Max Archer (Neal McDonough). They keep getting closer and closer to catching him and ruining his cover.
• But, this is made worse because Fareed has a contact in the government agency and is feeding Fareed intel to keep them one step ahead of the law.
• As Samir and Omar travel the US giving the needed supplies to sleeper cell solo all over, Samir knows he's got to find a safe way out of this that won't cause casualties of any more innocent people.
• In a Canadian coffee shop, when Samir orchestrates his play to give simultaneous instructions to all of the suicide recruits, he conceives of a play to minimize damage.
• Omar comes back to find that everything is in order. They then plan to flee via boat back to France, but not before Samir manages to get a cryptic email off to Roy Clayton that gives him their departure site info as well as a heads up about a mole in his office.
• Samir overpowers and kills everyone except Omar. Omar is shot by agents boarding the boat using of Samir's tip. Samir will eventually go free, and the plan was minimized by his ingenious alteration to have all of the bombers board the same bus. This way, instead of 50 targets there was only one, and all of the suicide bombers were killed in the process and all of their bombs destroyed.
