Harry Potter Movie Poster Extravaganza

Who can forget 16 November 2001 when the magic of J.K. Rowling's rousing adventure series about a young wizard sent off to boarding school finally hit the big screens in the USA with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone--gosh the kids were so little then? Given my rule of never reading a book prior to seeing a movie, so, indeed, I'm still a bit behind in the Harry Potter world since the movies cannot seem to keep pace with the books, I'll never forget finally understanding what all the fuss was about. While the films can never replace the books nor the power of the imagination to recreate Ms Rowling's wondrous narrative in the mind, they hold their own place near and dear the hearts of fans, especially those of us with that no books before movies policy--am I the only one? As this summer brings out the 5th film in the series, it seems fitting to continue the movieEVERYday.com tradition of honoring film franchises with a Movie Poster Extravaganza highlighting the great history of the francise by showing off the posters that helped make the films' history.
