Jason Bourne Movie Poster Extravaganza
The summer of 2002 introduced movie audiences to a character with whom fans of Robert Ludlum's novels had already grown to enjoy. His name was Jason Bourne, and he had no identity, hence the title, The Bourne Identity. Matt Damon took the action hero role. Doug Limon directed, and some people, your truly included, enjoyed the story but loathed the camera work—it was too jumpy. The effect was intended to give the film a high-paced frenetic feel, which it did on the one hand, on the other so does riding a roller coaster backwards on a full stomach of day-old nachos. Paul Greengrass took over for the sequel which agreed more universally with everyone's motion sickness sensors coming out the better of the two films. Well, some people say if you wait long enough, just about every movie will become an epic trilogy, of course it helps if the novelist has kept the character alive with fresh material. So, it shouldn't have surprised anyone to see the "coming soon" posters for The Bourne Ultimatum. So, it is with casual abandon, we honor this film trilogy, as has become a custom at movieEVERYday.com, with a movie poster extravaganza helping fans to take a trip down memory lane and explore what has come before in the imagery of this Bourne franchise. Enjoy! [vote for your favorite Bourne film in our poll below the posters]
