Spoiler Points for Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008)
• Anakin Skywalker (voiced by Matt Lanter) and Obi-Wan Kenobi (voiced by James Arnold Taylor) are deployed on a planet to save it from invasion by Count Dooku's forces.
• Ahsoka Tano (voiced by Ashley Eckstein) arrives as Anakin's padowan learner.
• He's skeptical of her abilities, but decides to train her anyway. Yoda has sent her with his own mission in mind.
• Count Dooku (voiced by Christopher Lee) has kidnapped Rotta the Huttlet, son of Jabba, and hidden him in a far away place under the care of Asajj Ventress (voiced by Nika Futterman). This evil villainous has a grudge against the Jedi whom Dooku plans to frame for the kidnapping and murder of Rotta so he can forge an alliance with the Hutt clan to use their shipping supply lanes. The Republic has similar motives in mind when it comes to using the Hutt's shipping lanes and they plot to rescue Rotta to ensure their successful persuasion of Jabba.
• Anakin and Ahsoka are successful in taking out the enemy force shield and Obi-Wan's stall tactics work well enough to allow the defense of the planet. From there, Anakin and Ahsoka leave to try and rescue Rotta.
• Back on Courassant, Senator Amidala (voiced by Catherine Taber) hopes to forge a treaty with the Hutts herself by appealing to Jabba's uncle Ziro (voiced by Corey Burton). Unfortunately, she's not swift enough and finds herself his captor. As it turns out, he's responsible for helping Dooku kidnap Rotta. C-3PO (voiced by Anthony Daniels) arrives to save the day and rescue her. She gets him to confess he and Dooku worked together to kidnap Rotta.
• As Anakin and Ahsoka work to save Rotta, they find the little baby slug is feverish and in need of care. Eventually, they arrive on Jabba's home world to face the mighty Jabba the Hutt. At first, he's suspicious and fails to believe they rescued his son, but he's persuaded later to their honesty and give the Republic full use the Hutt shipping lanes.
