Indiana Jones Movie Poster Extravaganza

After a numerous box office hits alone, buddies Steven Spielberg and George Lucas teamed up to bring the 1980s a new, rugged, adventurous hero, dubbed Indiana Jones. The first film, Raiders of the Lost Ark was a blockbuster, summer event film despite the unknown hero who did not come from a comic book, action series, or even children's novel. On the tails of his underplayed roles in Lucas's Star Wars trilogy, Harrison Ford was cast as Indiana Jones igniting his career in unexpected but welcome ways. Parodied in dozen of films with homage scenes galore, the fourth film in the series was long rumored and promised. Of course, various projects by Spielberg and Lucas also got in the way of the getting this film done. The week of 19 May 2008, however, brought the long wait to the end with the delivery of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
