High School Musical Movie Poster Extravaganza

In January 2006, the Disney Channel took a bold risk in releasing Kenny Ortega's High School Music. It went on to be one of the highest rated Disney Channel films of all time and spawned an entire cottage industry related to the tv movie. The film made instant stars out of the leads including Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu, and Monique Coleman. Before long, their faces were plastered on everything from notebooks to bed spreads. The success led to the production of a sequel, High School Musical 2 which focused on the summer antics of the leading characters, and it's phenomenal success warranted Disney to inform fans that the third installment would NOT go straight to TV, but rather, it would appear as a full-length feature film to arrive in the fall of 2008.
